Todd M. Oberdick
Todd has a wide and diverse practice advising clients in all areas of intellectual property law, including substantial high-end patent prosecution and opinion work in various technology areas, such as electronics, power tools, analytical instruments, and software. Todd has extensive experience before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, having successfully prosecuted and argued dozens of appeals.
David W. Aldrich
Dave has extensive experience in all areas of patent, trademark, and copyright law, including prosecution, litigation, opinions, licensing, and counseling. His practice has canvassed a wide array of technological areas, such as optics, analytical instruments, and mechanical devices, including an emphasis on the medical field.
John J. Dresch
John has extensive experience in various areas of patent preparation, prosecution, and appeals in the mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical fields, such as domestic household appliances, solar energy systems, medical devices, electric motors, data transmission and storage, optical transmission and communication, computer hardware, displays, printers, semiconductor lasers, light emitting devices, automotive components, among others.
Catherine (Flood) McCaffrey
Catherine has well over a decade of experience in the filing, prosecution, and issuance of patents. Having run the patent department at a mid-sized intellectual property boutique for many years prior to Forge IP, she has worked closely with the United States Patent & Trademark Office on a daily basis, and she has trained and managed countless patent admins and paralegals to effectively administer the acquisition of patents. Moreover, she has extensive experience filing appeals with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
